Our nappa shoes are made from a soft, Italian nappa and flexible leather soles. Nappa leather is permeable, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion.

"I’d been eyeing these shoes last year and they sold out in my size. So excited to see them offered again this year. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size the first time, but the exchange for the correct size could not have been easier. Now the weather needs to cool off a bit so I can wear them! "Unfortunately I just could not get these beautiful shoes to fit my feet. I started with an 8 (my usual size) and my heel just kept slipping out. Exchanged for a 7.5 and they pinched on my Achilles. Exchanged for an 8N and they were just too narrow. Ultimately this style just wasn’t for me. Margaux made returns easy although slow. The search continues!"

Too Narrow and Not Worth the Money

"Very soft and would be an incredibly chic and flattering fit if they weren’t so, so tight. I routinely buy wide-fit shoes, and I was so excited to see that Margaux offers wide-fit shoes. But they are very, very narrow and tight. They SQUEAK when I walk! I trimmed my TOENAILS to see if it would help, and it doesn’t! The length is generous, but the width is sorely lacking. Very soft leather, and it feels high quality to the touch. Beautiful shoes, but only accessible to those with narrow feet."

"Looove the phoebes! I was hoping to have the same experience as others do, not needing to break them in at all. I’m a solid 7 1/2 sometimes a wide, so that’s what I purchased. There’s still a bit snug after wearing for a few hours— but it was also pretty hot that day so I may have been a tad swollen 😅 Nonetheless I can tell they’re such high quality and have my eye on two other pairs!"
