Our embossed shoes are made from a python-embossed Italian calf leather. Calf leather is not water-resistant, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion.

Too Narrow and Not Worth the Money

"Very soft and would be an incredibly chic and flattering fit if they weren’t so, so tight. I routinely buy wide-fit shoes, and I was so excited to see that Margaux offers wide-fit shoes. But they are very, very narrow and tight. They SQUEAK when I walk! I trimmed my TOENAILS to see if it would help, and it doesn’t! The length is generous, but the width is sorely lacking. Very soft leather, and it feels high quality to the touch. Beautiful shoes, but only accessible to those with narrow feet."

"I got the phoebe denim in my usual size in wide and they are a perfect fit. The shoes are comfortable out of the box because of the material and supportive insoles. They are the cutest pair, goes so well with jeans, shorts or dress. I just love wearing them. The staff at Margaux SF helped me get the right pair. They are professional and really helpful. THE most comfortable shoes I own

"Incredibly comfortable shoes - the leather is SO soft. I just wore them for a whole week at a conference and they were amazing despite long days on my feet.
