"This is my first purchase from Margaux and I'm very happy. I looked all over for classic ballet "flats" with a low heel and leather soles. I want them to last. (Most shops sell synthetic soles, or they cost $1,000+. ) I read the description carefully and decided to buy these in wide. I don't usually wear wide shoes but these fit perfectly. They have a little cushion inside, and were comfortable right out of the box. I highly recommend."
"I really wanted this shoe. It’s a perfect stying of classic ballet flat with the modern twist of the square toe and a little bit of a heel. Unfortunately, the color I wanted is sold out. At the suggestion of customer service I tried variations of sizing and made use of the functional bow on the shoe, but ultimately, the leather shoe did not work for me. The same shoe in suede was when the magic happened. The Margaux in suede in the 8W was the perfect fit. Although I do wish the color were lighter, I am happy with the fit and the look of the shoe. Hopefully, Margaux will add more colors to the suede line. Most importantly, the company was great with the back and forth of returns. I hope they open stores in my area as I would love to shop the line."
"I enjoy this shoe! The sizing is not as consistent as my other Margaux shoes, though - I ordered my usual size, 8W, but find it's a little tight across the top of my foot. It does have an adjustable cord, which helps, but I feel that after a few hours. Otherwise they're stylish, well made, and pretty comfortable."
"These are beautiful, comfortable shoes. Margaux recommends sizing up a half size. Dont do that unless you’ve been cramming your feet into a half a size smaller shoe on the regular. These shoes actually run a little big and a little wide in my opinion (I do not have a narrow foot, in fact I probably am more on the wider side of medium.)The shoes still work but I’m actually wondering if the 6 1/2 would’ve been a better size for me. "I usually shy away from ballet shoes because I feel I have a slight bunion and don’t feel they have enough support . However this ballet shoe has the perfect small heel , dressy but also convenient to run errands. I wear a lot of neutrals so was on the hunt for a dark cherry red patent and I feel I have manifested that shoe!! I was nervous about the fit . I listen to the reviews , does run small so I sized up half size and pick the wide width for my slight bunions. When I first tried I was afraid it was too wide but then it molds to your feet and it’s actually perfect!! Comfortable without losing the shoes"
