Our nappa shoes are made from a soft, Italian nappa and flexible leather soles. Nappa leather is permeable, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion.

For our latest iteration on a classic ballet flat, we used a chic low heel and squared-off toe to give lift and attitude to a new everyday favorite. Much like The Demi and The Pointe, The Ada is intended to be dressed up or down. However you style it, all-day wear is recommended. "The Ada pump is more comfortable than -- and just as stylish as -- my Chanel, Ferragamo and Roger Vivier low heeled pumps. I have wide feet so purchased my usual size (8.5W) and have been so happy that I bought another color and plan to buy additional colors. The leather and suede are buttery soft (like Chanel) and there is no tacky side seam on the instep side of the shoe. If debating between the Ada pump and the similar looking Fonteyn ballet flat, note that the Ada pump has a wider toe box than the Fonteyn (including in 8.5W). Begging MargauxNY: Please do not retire the Ada pump!"

Beautifully sustained Lisbon’s pavement !

Nice Looking Shoe

"US shoe size goes between 9 1/2 or 10. These shoes were exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately didn't work for me. The suede is soft and comfortable, but I needed more cushion in the shoe. I thought the shoe would have a slip resistant sole, so if I kept the shoes, I would have to go and have something nonskid placed on the sole."

A bit pricey for construction

"I’m split on these shoes. On the one hand, the size range is great and the sachetto construction meant I was able to walk miles the first day without blisters. On the other, the sole seems a bit flimsy somehow? There is a thin coating on the leather soles that wears off immediately where you walk. Then the bottoms looks very uneven. And where I stubbed my toe the sole seemed to almost chip in a way that made me wonder if it’s a leather composite or something."
