The Platform Sandal represents what we believe most fervently about fashion—that confidence and comfort can go hand-in-hand and true style stems from wearing what makes you look and feel your best. When creating this style, we started with the last of our City Sandal, taking the form that is beloved by so many, and added a light platform and higher heel that didn't compromise on comfort. The retro-inspired silhouette that resulted is a festive, fun, and infinitely wearable companion to your bridal look.

We advise taking a half-size up from the US-to-European conversion provided. For instance, if you typically wear a US 7, we would recommend a 37.5 (US 7.5) in The Platform Sandal. The ideal fit for an open-back shoe like this will leave minimal space between your heel and the edge of the sole, even in the larger size. This ensures comfort while maintaining a secure fit.

Medium width is considered standard, so if you generally find standard widths comfortable in other shoes, we suggest taking a Medium. However, if you find that other shoes often pinch or feel too tight around the ball of your foot, the Wide is a fantastic option to try. It is made on a combination last, with the toe box being the only area that is wider (it's also a great option to try if you have bunions). The Narrow will be more narrow throughout the entirety of the shoes; it's a good option if you find your foot frequently slips or feels insecure in a standard width.

Our nappa Platform Sandals are made from a soft Italian nappa leather. Nappa leather is permeable, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion. Our suede Platform Sandals are made from Italian suede, a surprisingly durable material. Marks and scuffs to the suede can be gently removed using a suede brush and cleaning spray, like those provided in our suede care kit. Regular treatment with a protectant spray can also help prevent signs of future wear.

The Platform Sandal has a comparable fit to The City Sandal, Carmine Mule, and Carmine Platform, as all are made on the same last.

The tailored front straps of The Platform Sandal should fit snugly but comfortably around the widest part of your foot. The straps at the heel will not be entirely flush against your foot in order to allow for comfortable movement throughout the day.

Bespoke pairs ordered through the atelier are handmade to order at our factory in Spain and ship within 10-12 weeks of order–right in time for your big day. Keep in mind that you may want your shoes for your dress fittings, so please take your fitting timeline into account when placing your order.

Reliably comfortable

"I have these in the non platform version and they are the most comfortable heel, so I bought these hoping they’d also be comfy. And of course they were - the first time I wore them, I wore them for >6 hours and danced and walked all over without any pain or blisters. Not to mention they are super cute and timeless. Can’t speak to durability yet but my other heeled sandals from Margaux have walked me up and down Manhattan and beyond. Only problem w Margaux is the different types of shoes are sized very differently. I order a full size up in the close toed shoes and flats compared to the sandals, which fit more like other brands."
