Our nappa shoes are made from a soft, Italian nappa and flexible leather soles. Nappa leather is permeable, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion.

Fit is off

"I ordered these in three separate sizes and none of them fit my feet correctly. The one that appeared to be the best fit (in terms of length of both the straps and the sole) still didn't feel secure when walking. Even with the ankle strap on the tightest hole I felt like my feet were slipping backwards when walking. I would consider my feet to be average in width and typically I don't have very many issues with shoe width/sizing, so I think this is an issue with the style and strap placement. The material quality seemed good though and I love the aesthetic - wish it had worked for my foot!"

Great for wide feet but still needs a break in period

"Bought these for summer vacation and while comfortable, these definitely need a break in period. My first few wears resulted in small blister at the toe and on the tops of the feet at the widest point of the foot. Would recommend holding time to break in and applying some aquaphor on the scabbed areas."

"This is my second pair of Palermo sandlas. I love the look, but the sizing of this one is different than last year’s pair. I wear a 7N and my black ones from last year are perfect. This year’s says is a narrow, but seems more like a medium. It is definitely wider than my older ones."

"I love the look of these however the way that the straps wrap around the front of the ankle, the show often slides off. I both added holes to the straps as well as added an insert but they still don’t grip enough."

Good but not great

"I want to love these but the fit just isn’t great. I ordered a wide width because my food is the wide side in the front and often my foot goes over the sole of sandals. The width of these are perfect for that. But the straps are too loose on top. Coupled with that, the ankle straps slip down even when I tighten them. The result is that sometimes when I’m walking the shoe comes off my foot. I would try the regular width but I’m afraid that the sole would then be too narrow."
