Since nappa leather is porous and absorbs water easily, avoid getting them wet. Getting the shoes soaking wet can irrevocably stain the leather.

Most quality shoe repair shops will offer products to polish, protect, and refresh the leather's surface. A neutral cream polish—one without color—will also help protect the surface from scuffs and scrapes and keep the leather hydrated. If something's spilled on the leather, try using a soft cloth with a small amount of cleanser or cream on it. Rub the surface in a circular motion, then allow the shoe to dry before buffing the entire thing lightly with a dry, clean cloth.

Had to exchange twice because

"Had to exchange twice because I needed a smaller size than originally thought, the process was very easy through the website and exchange was mailed right away after the return was sent back. I found that the area by the toes was very long so ended up keeping the size 7 instead of the 8 or 7. 5. Very comfortable for flat sandals, they have extra cushion under the heals."

"I am a big fan of Margaux shoes but these are my first sandals. I followed the suggestions on what size to order, which can be difficult as every pair of Margaux shoes I own are a slightly different size. That can make ordering challenging but every Margaux shoe I own fits so well it is hard to complain. Customer Service has been very helpful suggesting sizes and having the option to order a wide rather than to just go longer has been beneficial. I was worried that the sandals might show wear early with the woven strap and dark sole but they have held up well and haven’t stretched out or gotten sloppy. I would highly recommend."

Deia Woven Sandal

"I love that these shoes are available in narrow widths! I typically wear a size 8. 5N and initially ordered two sizes in brown. Unfortunately, the fit wasn't quite right. The shorter length fit well in width but felt a little too short, while the longer length, even in the narrow width, was slightly too wide, causing my heel to slip out when walking. I later ordered a second pair in black and chose the shorter length. The width is better, although the shoe is just a bit short. Since the leather stretches with wear, I think the ideal fit for me would be something just slightly narrower and slightly longer. Overall, I appreciate having a true narrow-width option, which is increasingly difficult to find."
