The City Sandal runs true to size, so we recommend ordering based on your usual US size. If you are between sizes or widths, we recommend going up in size.

Our City Sandal is made from soft Italian nappa and suede and will soften and mold to your foot with wear. Ideally, the straps at the front of your foot should feel fitted but not too snug when you first put them on. The back straps are not designed to fit entirely flush against your ankle and heel so that they are comfortable as you move and walk. Like the straps at the front of the foot, they will soften with wear, and any initial gapping will become slightly less noticeable with time. 

Our nappa City Sandals are made from a soft Italian nappa leather. Nappa leather is permeable, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion. Our suede City Sandals are made from Italian suede, a surprisingly durable material. Marks and scuffs to the suede can be gently removed using a suede brush and cleaning spray, like those provided in our suede care kit. Regular treatment with a protectant spray can also help prevent signs of future wear.

The City Sandal has a comparable fit to The Platform Sandal, Carmine Mule, and Carmine Platform, as all are made on the same last.

The tailored front straps of the City Sandal should fit snugly but comfortably around the widest part of your foot. The straps at the heel will not be entirely flush against your foot in order to allow for comfortable movement throughout the day.

Bespoke pairs ordered through the atelier are handmade to order at our factory in Spain and ship within 10-12 weeks of order–right in time for your big day. Keep in mind that you may want your shoes for your dress fittings, so please take your fitting timeline into account when placing your order.

Perfect Nude Block Heel

"Scored these beautiful heels on sale during their Archives and they are perfect! Needed them for a bridesmaid line where the requirements were "Nude, block heel, open toe" and I hated how the single horizontal strap across the toes looked on me. These were perfect! I have slightly wider feet (but not wide enough to be considered wide size) and the Medium width worked perfectly! I'm a US size 7 but ordered a 38 which they list as a US size 8 and they fit perfectly!"

"Sadly, I ordered this shoe and was sent an entirely different pair. This is extra frustrating because the shoe seems to have been discontinued. Truly a bummer as I have it in brown and absolutely love it, it’s chic, comfortable and classic. The customer service team, specifically Robyn, was wonderful and as helpful as she could be, but since the shoe is sold out I had to settle on a different pair that I’m not as taken with."

"The espresso is a stunning color, and I can tell the leather is of good quality. The 5mm padding at the bottom of the shoe is very comfortable. However, there are some design flaws, such as the diagonal straps around the ankle being a bit too long, so they flay out. I agree with the seller's recommendations of sizing half a size up. Personally, I wish I would have gotten it in a wide width as the normal width is still a bit too narrow on my feet."
