Since nappa leather is porous and absorbs water easily, avoid getting them wet. Getting the shoes soaking wet can irrevocably stain the leather.

Most quality shoe repair shops will offer products to polish, protect, and refresh the leather's surface. A neutral cream polish—one without color—will also help protect the surface from scuffs and scrapes and keep the leather hydrated. If something's spilled on the leather, try using a soft cloth with a small amount of cleanser or cream on it. Rub the surface in a circular motion, then allow the shoe to dry before buffing the entire thing lightly with a dry, clean cloth.

Most comfortable flats I own

"So comfortable and versatile. I wear them with jeans, shorts, pants and dresses. Love the ecru color. Definitely size down, I read the reviews and originally ordered a 37 (I normally wear a 37. 5/38) but they were still big especially since the leather is so soft and gives. "As soon as I slipped on these flats I knew I'd be living in these summer into fall. I ordered my regular size, no adjustments, and the shoes hug my feet as if made for them. Flattering Shoe

"It took me two attempts to get the proper size but once I did I couldn’t be happier. The shoes fit like they were made for me plus they are very flattering on the foot and the V shape lengthens the leg. Customer service was very helpful and even reviewed my photos to suggest the best size. I have started asking customer service for advice on size before placing an order to limit being disappointed when the shoes arrive. Buying shoes online is difficult especially when you are waiting for the shoes to arrive prior to an event. For the price I don’t want to settle for something that kind of works with this brand. The first pair I ordered were a little big and it was tempting to just wear them but after showing a photo of the shoe on my foot to customer service they agreed that they would likely stretch too much to be comfortable in the future. They suggested going down in length and moving to a wide. The end result is the best fitting shoes I own."
