How do I know my size?

The Altea Sling runs true to size, so we recommend ordering based on your usual US size. If you are between sizes or widths, we recommend taking the larger size.

While this shoe was designed to fit flush with your heel, some customers—as with other open back styles—prefer to take a half-size larger for additional space behind their heel.

If you find that the fit isn’t quite perfect, we recommend lengthening or shortening the strap at the heel. The buckle is fully functional and allows you to adjust the strap to fit your heel just right!

How do I know my width?

Medium width is considered standard, so if you generally find standard widths comfortable in other shoes, we suggest taking a Medium. However, if you find that other shoes often pinch or feel too tight around the ball of your foot, the Wide is a fantastic option to try. It is made on a combination last, with the toe box being the only area that is wider. (It's also a great option to try if you have bunions.) The Narrow will be more narrow throughout the entirety of the shoes; it's a good option if you find your foot frequently slips or feels insecure in a standard width.

How does the fit compare to other styles?

The Altea Sling is made on the same last (or mold) as The Paz and The Phoebe and will offer a comparable fit.

Will The Altea Sling stretch?

Since the upper is handwoven from soft leather, they will naturally soften and mold to your foot with wear. You may find the fit feels slightly snug at first, but the woven leather is designed to give and relax with wear.
