"This shoe was really pretty, but sadly did not work for my foot. My feet are a little on the wider side, but I typically wear regular width shoes. This shoe looked narrow, so I went with a wide. I normally wear a US9, and ordered a 39 because that was what was in stock. These just about fit, so I think these are true to size, and I should have gotten a 39. 5. Even if I had gotten the 39. 5, ultimately these just weren't flattering on my feet and the toebox felt too tight, even in the wide width. Also because of the open weave, my big toenail kept poking through one of the holes and that was not cute. The shoe looked really well made, just not the right style, would probably work best for those with feet on the narrower side."

I have now tried on three different styles of Margaux shoes and they are all really comfortable and stylish. The Altea is so versatile and can be paired with many outfits over many seasons. Also, customer service is excellent providing great advice on appropriate sizing. Big Margaux fan!"
