The Edie Boot runs true to size, so we recommend ordering based on your usual US size. They are designed to be worn with light- to medium-weight socks. If you plan to wear them with a thicker sock, we recommend ordering up a half-size or width.

Medium width is considered standard, so if you generally find standard widths comfortable in other shoes, we suggest taking a medium. However, if you find that other shoes often pinch or feel too tight around the ball of your foot, the wide is a fantastic option to try. It is made on a combination last, with the toe box being the only area that is wider. (It's also a great option to try if you have bunions.) The narrow will be more narrow throughout the entirety of the shoes; it's a good option if you find your foot frequently slips or feels insecure in a standard width.

Our suede Boots are made from fine Italian suede, a surprisingly durable material. Marks and scuffs to the suede can be gently removed using a suede brush and cleaning spray, like those provided in our suede care kit here. Regular treatment with a protectant spray can also help prevent signs of future wear.

The Edie Boot is a structured, knee-high boot with a comparable fit to our Boot, as it is made on the same last—and a similar shaft height to that of our Bleecker Boot. The key difference between The Bleecker and The Edie is the heel height. While The Bleecker's heel comes in at 3.5 inches tall, our Edie is our signature block heel height of 2.5 inches.
