Since calf leather is porous and absorbs water easily, avoid getting them wet. Getting the shoes soaking wet can irrevocably stain the leather, but if they just get a bit wet, stuffing the toe area with clean, un-dyed paper or cloth and letting them dry naturally, without heat, can help them to recover.

Most quality shoe repair shops will offer products to polish, protect, and refresh the leather's surface. A neutral cream polish—one without color—will also help protect the surface from scuffs and scrapes and keep the leather hydrated. If something's spilled on the leather, try using a soft cloth with a small amount of cleanser or cream on it. Rub the surface in a circular motion, then allow the shoe to dry before buffing the entire thing lightly with a dry, clean cloth.

Shipping:

For US orders, standard shipping is complimentary on orders over $100; a $4.95 shipping fee applies to orders under $100. Expedited FedEx 3Day, 2Day, and Overnight options are available at checkout.

For international orders, shipping rates are calculated at checkout. All international shipments are sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), meaning duties and taxes are collected at checkout for smooth delivery.

In-stock orders ship within 1–2 business days. Expedited orders placed after 2pm ET will ship the following business day.

For preorders, payment is collected at checkout. Please refer to the “Expected to ship” date on the product page for estimated availability.

Returns & Exchanges:

For U.S. and Canadian orders, we accept returns on new, unworn items within 14 days of delivery, and exchanges or returns for store credit within 30 days.

Returned items must be free of wear, scuffing, creasing, debris, or damage and include all original packaging. All returns are inspected upon arrival and must meet these condition requirements to qualify for a refund.

Return shipping is complimentary for exchanges and store credit within the U.S.
Refunds on U.S. orders incur an $11 return shipping fee, unless Return Protection was added at checkout for $3.98.

For international orders (outside the U.S. and Canada), all purchases are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

Black flats

"I bought the 7. 5 as I am sometimes between 7. 5 and 8, but ended up ordering the 8 and returning the 7. 5. If you lean towards the larger side, I would get the larger size. However, I find they stretch quickly in terms of width. I do not have a wide foot so sometimes I find these shoes a bit wide. They are comfortable and don't take much breaking in. I will say for the leather, they get creased very quickly."

Lovely but too stiff

"It's a lovely shoe, well-made and sturdy. It's far too stiff for my liking, and unfortunately much too wide (and I have a fairly wide foot!). The is the second pair of flats I've tried from Margaux and unfortunately they just don't seem to work for my feet. Sometimes the lasts just aren't a match, I guess."

So cute

"They’re super cute shoe. I wouldn’t say I could wear them around New York City all day because they are slightly too wide and being backless but your other ballet flats that do have a back are my favorites and everyone is always asking me whose they are. I don’t know the name of that one, but it’s a true ballet flat with a little elastic strap across your arch. That one is my favorite but I will say the block heel I wear to every wedding I go to and everyone always asks me about them so now all my friends we are all wearing them to all the weddings in gold."

Worn once, already showing wear and tear

"Recently purchased these shoes, which are extremely comfortable and appear well-made; however, I’ve only worn them once and yet the black material covering the bottom of the shoes is already peeling off indicating to me that for these shoes to last me a long time, I will have to get them resoled and sooner rather than later. Cute But Painful

"The design is really cute and the length fits perfectly, but comfort-wise it’s a bit disappointing. The leather upper creates friction on the top of my feet, which actually hurts and gives me blisters after wearing them for a bit, so they’re not something I can walk in for long. They also slip off quite easily when walking. I’m starting to think I might need a narrow width, but it was sold out at the time, and as this is my first pair, I didn’t realize how much the width would affect the fit. I’ll probably need to wear them a bit more to see if they break in over time, but right now they’re not the most practical for everyday use."
