Marks and scuffs to the suede can be gently removed using a suede brush and cleaning spray, like those provided in our suede care kit. Regular treatment with a protectant spray can also help protect your boots from the elements and prevent signs of future wear.

While The Bowery Boot isn't water-resistant, routinely applying a suede protector such as the one included in our suede care kit can help protect them from the elements.

The Bowery Boot is made on the same last (or mold) as The Boot that you already know and love, meaning it will offer a comparable fit.

The Bowery Boot runs true to size, so we recommend ordering based on your usual US size. We've accounted for the tapered toe in our size conversions, so there's no need to order a size larger in length or width.

Though the style runs true to size, do keep in mind that The Bowery Boot is designed to be worn with light- to medium-weight socks. Therefore, If you plan to wear them with a thicker sock, we recommend ordering up a half-size or width.

Medium width is considered standard, so if you generally find standard widths comfortable in other shoes, we suggest taking a Medium. However, if you find that other shoes often pinch or feel too tight around the ball of your foot, the Wide is a fantastic option to try. It is made on a combination last, with the toe box being the only area that is wider. (It's also a great option to try if you have bunions.) The Narrow will be more narrow throughout the entirety of the shoes; it's a good option if you find your foot frequently slips or feels insecure in a standard width.

If you plan on wearing your boots with a thicker sock in the colder months, then we'd recommend sizing up in width.
