Should You Be Wearing a Wide or Narrow Width?

Width can be a tricky thing. Particularly because width options aren’t all that common, nailing down the correct one when you’ve only ever tried standard options makes the process a bit confusing. To help, we have a few guidelines and tips.

In our collection, you can shop Narrow, Medium, and Wide widths. Think of Medium as being standard; most women, though not all, wear it comfortably. Our Narrow, by comparison, is going to be more narrow throughout the entirety of the shoes. If you’ve ever found a standard width gapping along the arch of your foot, our Narrow would be a terrific option to try.

On the opposite end is our Wide. Our Wide is made on a combination last wherein only the toe box portion of the shoes is made wider (the heel of the shoes maintains a Medium width). This is a terrific option for anyone with a wider metatarsal, bunions, shorter arches, or even someone who just prefers a roomier feel in her shoes. Because the width doesn’t impact the length of the shoes in anyway, it can really be a game changer in terms of finding your ideal fit.

As always, if you have any questions on sizing, width or otherwise, don’t hesitate to reach out. You can chat with us during business hours, text at 917-451-3483, or schedule a personal fit appointment—I’m always happy to help!
